Let's not forget that our children need old fashioned activities, crafts andfamily activities in their lives so they can be "kids" as long as possible!The great thing about the traditional Treehouse is that it didn't haveelectricity, video games or television. It was a great place to read, writeand dream of those things that all children dream of.

Harvesting and Using Summer Squash

Summer squash is one of my favorite vegetables. I love the yellow summer squash in particular. They should be harvested while still tender, when they have a "glossy" appearance and are still small. You will most likely need to harvest daily once they start to appear.
