A Family Tribute

Phylis Stelma

Remembrance Roses I lost my mother to cancer on September 13. She was and is a beautiful person inside and out. She loved her family -children, grandchildren, greatgrandson and friends. We miss her so very much. There are many loving reminders of her - her beautiful yard, roses and other flowers, her fish pond, her new house, her antiques. It has been almost a year since she passed away and the pain of losing her is still very much in our hearts. She is still a very big part of our lives. We see her in dreams, thoughts, the inspiration and love she shared with us, the wisdom she gave us, and so many small things that would take a book to write them all down. Her family loves her so much and misses her, but we know someday we will all be together once again.

Several dishes, including Mexican fajitas, Cajun seafood, sausage & eggs, and of course, cornbread, are hailed as delicious when prepared in these pans. Cast iron is also the cookware of choice amongst serious campers and hikers, but be sure to bring the pack mule, this stuff is heavy!
