Number Fun for Kids
These simple activities will help teach your child about
numbers. They are great learning tools that your child
will want to do again and again. Great for homeschoolers!
Build a WatchMaterials : two dice, paper, pencilTo play: Each player draws a very large circle on their paper. Add lines where the hours on a clockface will fall, and number accordingly. Take turns rolling the dice, and add, subtract, multiply or divide the result to yield one of the numbers on your clockface. Once a number has been circled, it cannot be replayed. The first player to circle all numbers on the clockface wins. Twenty's PlentyMaterials : two dice, paper, pencilTo play: Distribute paper and pencils to each player. The game is played in ten rounds. To start each round, a player selects any number between 1 and 20. Players then take turns rolling the two dice and adding the results. Whoever rolls a sum closest to the selected number wins that round. After ten rounds, the player with the most victories wins the game.
