Red Hot Heart

Red Hot Heart

By Dawn Lloyd

This valentine craft is easy enough for the littlest of sweethearts!

Materials
Card stock paper or posterboard
Craft glue
Cinnamon Red Hots Candy

Instructions
Candy Heart CraftWith a pencil, draw the outline of a heart on the paper or posterboard.

Trace approximately 1/4 of the outline with a thin layer of glue (an adult or older child may need to do this step)

Apply Red Hots candies to the glue

Repeat for the remainder of the heart

Allow to dry then use the glue inside the heart to spell out child's name, make a face, or other decoration.

Apply candies to the interior decoration.

Allow to dry overnight for best results.

This example was made entirely by my 4 year old daughter with the exception of the original outline of the heart.
