Making Memories with Your Grandchildren

Sue Johnson, Julie Carlson

Review from Chinaberry Books and Gifts

Order from Chinaberry Books and Gifts

When the authors of this book asked me to write the foreword for the second edition of GRANDLOVING, I wasn't sure I was up to the job. I mean......I think I'm still more than a few years away from grandparenting. Why would my thoughts about the subject even matter????

Yet, after reading GRANDLOVING, I knew I could take on the job (of writing the foreword, I mean). It turns out they asked me to do the honors because they love Chinaberry's philosophy and how the catalog promotes closeness and caring and joy in the moment.

Here is a book that every grandparent who wants to stay connected to a grandchild may need. For the in-town grandparents and the out-of-town grandparents; for ideas on how to memorably count down the nine months; be helpful during the postpartum visit; be in touch across the miles; be a visitor; have your grandchild visit; celebrate and memorialize holidays and traditions; etc. ... This book covers more than you'd ever think "grandloving" could entail. Ideas for cooking, art, games, and outdoor fun are all covered - and more.

Get GRANDLOVING for yourself or make sure someone who loves you gets it. Just be sure it's part of your life when your life includes grandchildren!
