VIRUS WARNING! Just to make sure everyone is aware

I posted the link for the removal of the W32Blaster.worm virus on the This and That board but I'm posting it again here to make sure that everyone sees it one place or another.

Symantec W32Blaster.Worm Removal Tool

Our computer had this virus so IF you received any email attachments from me between Aug. 4 and Aug. 11, I sincerely hope you did not open them. I wouldn't send anyone an attachment in the first place without letting you know before it was sent because viruses are so easily spread.

The symptoms of this virus are that you are not able to stay connected to the internet, your computer shuts down.
I hope this helps someone out.

VIRUS WARNING!

TexOkie: Thanks for the warning. There was another one out earlier this morning (10:00 a.m. approx) which shut down a number of companies' computer systems here. On my way home, I spoke with my 'puter tech who mentioned to me to run my virus checker and get any new updates before touching any computer programs. Fortunately, there weren't any of the viruses.
thought I'd pass this on.

You can download a patch to prevent getting the worm virus at:

www.microsoft.com/security

It also explains how to check if you are infected and how to remove the worm if you are infected.
