Kathy that is my husband birthday also.
When the sun shines it's a great day!
Hey Tricia, another date in common......3/10 is my wedding anniversary. Actually I should put in 10/3.....but I think you'll get our "down under" back to front dates being the
"Australian-ophile" that you are !
Thanks for your previous posts. That's what I enjoy about the Parlour, the fact that we can all express our views and be accepted without any rubbishing.
PS.....I still think the war images are millions times worse than any floppy old booby on the telly.
By the way, since we didn't see any of the previous dance routines here, the crotch-grabbing thing......hasn't Michael Jackson been doing that for years ???
LOL SO true!
When the sun shines it's a great day!
My question would be to them is do you have to go to the bathroom, some little boy's do that when they have to go potty.
When the sun shines it's a great day!
but-mum- *grin* gee we seem to do that things in common thing alot lol.
thanks for the complimentI agree about the war images being much harder to explain.
targirl- all i can say is lol. I agree that's probably why it bugs me I want to rush them to the potty from when I potty trained my nephew

Hey, Tricia!
You have some interesting comments. I like your definition of "inappropriate touch"; think it's a very good rule-of-thumb. Now if only you can teach it to my DAD! He was here not too long ago, and of course my girls ran up to hug Grandpa. They also had a young friend there, who did NOT run up to hug Grandpa. Dad tried to convince her it was OK, etc, but the kid wouldn't budge. I politely told Dad to back off; the child didn't know him and didn't feel comfortable around him, and considered him a "stranger" (which he was!). He kept saying, "But I'm NOT a stranger! I'm Faythe's Grandpa!" And he wasn't trying anthing "inappropriate", but the child's feeling were more important than his. And hopefully in retrospect he'll realize I was right. Later I learned that this child is a little "stand-off-ish" and didn't hug people a lot, except immediate family members.
For what it's worth, I don't have a problem with you going to a nudist colony (not that it'd matter if I did, lol!), but I seriously doubt you'd be walking down the street of your hometown "dressed" that way! If I were to take my kids to the nudist colony, I would expect to see a little nudity; I shouldn't expect to see near-nudity on the streets, nor should I expect to see it on family TV shows. Unfortunately, I do "expect" it, which is why TV is very limited. Nor do I get upset by seeing an naked person hanging at the art gallery. I guess it's the context of it.
And while the pornography isn't the "scourge of society", it IS a business that exploits people, especially young people that feel trapped. (I feel the same about gambling, including the Lottery).
I do appreciate your views, even though I disagree with some of them. I mean, who else was able to give us a better understanding of wearing pasties? I'm still planning on wearing nothing but two bandaids to bed some night, when DH doesn't suspect!
im lost here ... why wear the bandaids to bed?? you should get those little round ones that they use at the doctors office when they prick your finger and put little smiley faces on them![]()
There are 3 kinds of people in this world .. sheep, wolves, and wolves in sheep's clothing .. spend your spare time looking for zippers.
I am all for differing of opinions. That to me is one of the things that personal freedom is all about. I do have a perspective on JJ's jewelry too- it was pretty but it looked kinda painful to me since it's apparently goes through the peircing and then is clamped.... ouch I say
Go for the band aids and a sarong be crazy play pagan festival lol!
