    Chicago Cubs

The family is going to a Cub game July 6th. I haven't done that for a while. Last time I went I had to endure 13 innings and I vowed to myself never again. But, my son has moved to a new apartment in Wrigleyville and it's his 26th birthday...so off I go. I bought him an inflatable bed for his new place...he's still my baby!

The last time I was in Chicago we went to see Blue Man Group, it was a blast. We walked over to Cafe BaBaReba to eat. There's so much going on around Halsted Street!

The last time I went was the Shed Aquarium for my niece . . . this August I am taking her to Cirque Du Soliel "Varekai". I saw "La Nouba" in FL & it was awesome. She will just love it. I can't wait. Hope you guys have a blast!!!

Ooooh, I would love to see that circus. I watch it on A&E every year...it's wonderful. I'll have to check that out, thanks!

What's the multi-tiered mall on Michigan Avenue (goes up instead of sprawling out)?? That's where I was the last time I was in Chicago.. I love to go to the horse races too!! I love Chicago!!

I hope you have a wonderful day with your bouncing baby boy..

Thank you Gayla. Do you mean Water Tower Place? I haven't been to the horse races, but I have been to the greyhound races just across the border in Kenosha, Wisconsin...that was great fun and they have the adoption center inside to adopt the greyhounds when they get older....Sweet dogs!

Bogiesmom . . if you ever get a chance you must see it. I did not think I would like it because just the name brings to mind Barnum & Bailey circus . . . . but I must say I was pleasantly surprised. It is like a sensory overload & before you know it 2 hrs have passed. My sis in FL has seen it 4 times & she said each time she sees it she notices something new because so much is going on!!! LOVED IT!! I hate shopping on Michigan Ave unless it is christmas.

No I belong to the Cirque club & I get advance notice of ticket sales a couple days before the public. I did go on line &

    www.ticketnow.com

has some listed. Or you could go on line & join the cirque club.

    www.ciruedusoleil.com

I would recommend this for all ages - male or female. It truly is a sight.
