Stains on rubber or polyurethane shoes

These are the type of shoes that you see the nurses in hospitals wearing. I need to find out how to get stains off them. They have removable insoles, and are washable, but air dry. The info that came with them said use warm water and soap. Any cleaning product containing bleach, harsh abrasives or industrial cleaning agents may cause damage or color change. I work in food industry and need to know how to get tomato sauce stains off. If there are any nurses out there maybe you can help. Surely you've gotten betadine or something like that on your shoes. Thanks in advance. Joyce

I know this is late and you've probably got a new
pair of shoes by now, but could you use one of the
Clorox with bleach wipes? It's worth a try!

    stains on poly shoes

thanks Brenda, but I can't use bleach on them. It will turn them yellow. I appreciate your replying though.

I had no luck at all looking. My husband is an RN, but
he just wears white tennis shoes....Sorry, I even tried
searching online and came up empty!

Thanks for all your trouble. I've tried everything too. Oh well, life's too short to worry about the small stuff.
