    Talking A Night Blooming Garden

Has anyone grown a moonlight garden?
This is an excellant page with TONS of information!

I've grown some of the flowers, but not specifically as a moonlight garden, which I would love to do now that we have room!

I do too--- and it doesn't really have to be a big area-- it could even be a small space by a deck or a porch-- wouldn't that be neat?

yes it would, and i had that in mind for me.. a large pot of some sort, or a few largish pots.. just to the side of the back door is a space covered in white pebbles with a (dead) water feature we plan on removing eventually.. would be perfect as we can see that from the kitchen/dining area, and each time we opened the door, we would be letting in any fragrance from that area.. i was going for just herbs, but i might rethink that...

It's a neat idea! Only, I'm hardly ever awake after dark!

I don't know that I have a moonlight garden, but have a few of the flowers planted...I am going to check this out much closer...you know me am my garden, there is always room for more, and if I ever get it done, well then Steve can make the 10,000 squared feet 12,000...LOL

What a neat idea, if I had more room I would love to do something like this.

I had several moonflowers growing next to the deck a few years ago. The aroma was wonderful and the flowers were nice in the moonlight. Don't know why I haven't done it since - forgetfulness or laziness?
