There is not a harder lesson to learn than saying goodbye. A child's first experience losing a loved one is terribly difficult, and it may be hard for them to imagine the grief will lessen.

"Saying Goodbye to LuLu" is the bittersweet story of girl and her lifelong companion, a dog named Lulu. They have been through much together, but age takes its toll on Lulu as the girl watches helplessly. She lovingly cares for her friend as she weakens, and grieves when her dog passes on. With her parent's support, she mourns her loss, but over time, the girl's pain does subside and she is ready to welcome a new pet into her heart.

"Saying Goodbye to LuLu" is a touching look at loss, grief and going on. It is a tenderly written account from a child's perspective, making it an excellent vehicle for helping children understand grief.

Cast iron is also the cookware of choice amongst serious campers and hikers, but be sure to bring the pack mule, this stuff is heavy!
